Hello! We are the UCSC Pre-Optometry Club, a relatively new group focused on supporting students interested in pursuing a career in optometry!
Our goal is to provide essential information and events such as prerequisites, application timelines, shadowing experience, resume-building workshops, and more. To offer the best resources and guidance, we rely on donations.
We’re seeking support to give our members the tools they need to succeed on their path to becoming future optometrists. Funding will help us provide practice materials, OAT fee waivers, or discounted exam support (an important part of the admissions process) for students facing financial barriers. Contributions will also help us host events by covering food, drinks, and basic supplies for meetings, workshops, and guest speaker sessions. For our graduating fourth-year members, we hope to provide stoles to honor their dedication and celebrate their achievements.
