Hello! We are Acquire A Cappella, UCSC's punniest singing group established in 2007! We are a group of ~20 students with a passion for singing a cappella arrangements ranging from pop music like Ariana Grande to classics such as "Danny Boy," with the occasional jazz twist!
Each year, we hold our annual Acquirefest, where we invite other colleges in California to UCSC to share their music, while we present our entire discography from the year! Our group works hard each year to prepare for this event, and we hope to raise money to make this year better than ever before!
Additionally, we intend to travel to ICCA (yes, like in Pitch Perfect) next year, and Spring Give gives you an opportunity to help us reach our goals! We also frequently visit other California colleges to perform at their yearly events. All of these opportunities allow us to spread our love for music, singing, and community!
