The UCSC Chapter of NSBE is more than a student organization, it is a community, a support system, and a space where Black students in STEM can truly belong. While we center and uplift Black voices in engineering, our community is open to anyone who believes in diversity, support, and growth in STEM. There’s a place for you here!
This Spring Give, we are raising funds to directly support Black engineering students at UC Santa Cruz by expanding access to opportunities that shape their futures! Your support allows us to:
- Send students to technical conferences and career fairs, where they gain exposure, build networks, and secure internships and job opportunities
- Host on-campus social and professional events that foster community, mentorship, and personal growth
- Provide meals at meetings and events, removing financial barriers to participation
- Create more hands-on and career-building experiences, including company tours and skill development opportunities
These aren’t just events, they’re the moments where confidence is built, connections are made, and futures begin.
Our work is grounded in NSBE’s mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and impact their communities positively. By supporting our chapter, you are helping us break down barriers, close opportunity gaps, and invest in the next generation of leaders in engineering and technology.
Every contribution counts. Thank you for being part of our community!!!
