Give support to Fish Rap Live! and you'll get hysterical, creative content the whole year long! We are a UCSC student-run satire newspaper that aims to publish a new edition twice a quarter. As a campus publication, we provide a spotlight for passionate writers and allow them to have their comedy read by more than just friends and family. Having a platform inspires writers and artists to keep honing their craft and motivates them to keep making others laugh.

Fish Rap Live! was founded in 1985. For 40 years, we’ve continued to publish satirical headlines, articles, comics, and quizzes. We tackle not only funny and off-beat ideas, but also serious campus issues and news through a humorous lens. Satire has long been one of the creative world’s greatest tools in fighting political injustice, and we hope to continue its legacy on our campus.

Your donation helps us cover the costs of printing. Currently, we print 1,500 copies of each issue and distribute them to students around campus. Many people look forward to seeing our papers in libraries, cafes, and improbably bizarre places across campus. Your support is immensely appreciated and will allow students to continue to share their creative voices at UCSC.
