For the first time ever all of Student Success and Equity's Extended Orientation programs Native Student Orientation, 540% Slugs, Black Academy, Bridge to Success, STARRS Summer Transition Program, EOP Summer Bridge, and Working to Achieve Valuable Experiences for Successful Scholars (WAVESS) are coming together to Inspiring Growth, Nurturing Innovation, & Transforming Education, aka IGNITE Your Student Success. IGNITE is a First Year Extended Orientation Program designed to support and guide students in their transition to the university, as well as provide a general introduction to the people and resources that will help new students flourish. In addition, we have fun social programs included that will bring first-year (frosh and transfer) students together. Your contribution will help us continue to bring almost 400 incoming first year students to campus early at no cost to them.
