This Giving Day, donating to UCSC’s ArtsBridge program will directly fund experiential learning opportunities for future arts educators, who, in turn, will inspire countless young artists.
For many K–12 students, arts education is a vital outlet for creativity and a pathway to critical thinking. The ArtsBridge program is at the forefront of providing these opportunities by placing talented university arts students into local schools to teach high-quality, hands-on arts projects in the areas of visual and digital art, film, dance, music, and theater.
By supporting ArtsBridge, your donation provides a ripple effect of impact:
- Trains Future Arts Leaders: For university students, ArtsBridge provides invaluable real-world teaching experience and the chance to transform their abstract knowledge into a fully realized teaching outlet. This creates a vibrant pipeline opportunity for future arts educators.
- Enriches K–12 Students' Lives: Your gift creates powerful, hands-on learning experiences for young students, bringing the arts to life and fostering a deeper connection to creative expression.
- Empowers K–12 Educators: With an ArtsBridge scholar in the classroom, local K–12 arts educators infuse their programs with new energy and specialized expertise.
This Giving Day we invite you to support the ArtsBridge program by funding an arts project or scholar.
Every dollar makes a difference:
- $10 helps purchase paints, brushes, or art supplies for a classroom project.
- $25 provides materials for one arts lesson.
- $50 supports a week of hands-on learning for local students.
- $100 helps fund training for an ArtsBridge scholar.
- $1,000 funds a partial scholarship,
- $2,000 funds a full scholarship,
Your gift, of any size, will have a lasting effect on both aspiring educators and the young people whose lives they touch.
Please consider making a gift to the ArtsBridge program today!
