The Institute of the Arts and Sciences, commonly known as the IAS, innovates exhibitions and programs reflecting a deep commitment to art as a catalyst for social change. Bringing the arts together with the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, the IAS’s wide-ranging, dynamic programming engages the most critical issues of our time. At the IAS, student gallery interns from UC Santa Cruz work closely with staff to plan events, enhance museum visitors’ experience and student engagement, and help install exhibitions. Please donate today to fund our student interns and our other programs, such as our Art for All Teen program, the Visualizing Abolition program, and the Aesthetics of Resilience program.
