This academic year, Fruitcake Magazine is officially in its 11th year, and we’re looking forward to a strong start to our second decade!

Since 2015, we have been working together with student artists to both produce our student-run yearly magazine and to foster a space for artists of all skill levels to come together, create, and express themselves. We welcome all types of artists, whether they’ve been involved in visual media their entire lives or simply enjoy drawing from time to time. Along with our magazine, we also collaborate with Sesnon Underground to display student artworks in a gallery setting.

These photos are from last year’s (2025 winter quarter) Fruitcake x Sesnon event.
We’ve had an amazing time, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been without difficulty. As we’ve grown as an organization, the amount of submissions we’ve received has continued to increase. Our goal has always been to feature every student’s submissions in our magazine, but that can be difficult with only a limited number of pages per year. Along with that, we’d also like to create more magazines as our club continues to grow, so securing funds is necessary to continue to financially support the magazine. Because Fruitcake is a free publication, the only way we’ve traditionally been able to gather funds has been through donations and school senates/organizations.
A little can go a long way for Fruitcake. Even as little as $3 can support us in a meaningful way—that's about the cost to print a single copy of Fruitcake!
If you'd like to check out previous issues of Fruitcake to see what you're supporting, you can check out our website at https://fruitcakemagazine.com! We also have an Instagram account and Discord server for more updates and community. Thank you for taking a look and spending some time on our page—we truly, truly appreciate it
