About

EyeCandy Film Journal is an annually released student-run publication that is devoted to highlighting students' passions for film, television, and visual media. Founded in 1990, EyeCandy inspires undergraduate students to explore their own creative endeavors in media analysis and to further connect with the world around them.

Created from scratch through intricate writing and design workshops led by the leadership team, this unique magazine values its collective nature, which continues to engage students today as it has for the past 35 years.

Our primary goal is to give undergraduate students a platform to discuss further and explore diverse topics that expand their relationship with all forms of media. We aim to reach a variety of audiences as we push readers to question their own interpretations through the intricate work of media analysis.

We believe it is vital that our publication be accessible as a physical medium. Therefore, we are raising funds so that our 36th publication will be in print, for students around campus to read and be inspired by our media analysis.

EyeCandy Film Journal is a unique opportunity that allows students to critically engage with their specific media passions and connect them to a global perspective.
