Barn Theater Renovation Project

The Barn Theater, nestled at the main entrance to UC Santa Cruz, was converted from an old barn in the 1960s into a theater and production space. For decades, the Barn Theater served as a vital campus performance space for students and faculty. Until 2020, the Barn Theater housed the Barnstorm Theater Company, a student-run production company that produces and hosts original student work, faculty-student collaborative pieces, improv and sketch comedy, full-length plays, and more. The building is currently closed, awaiting resources needed to retrofit and meet ADA standards. Your gift to the Barn Theater Renovation Fund supports the necessary improvements to the building.
