About ACM at UCSC:
Powering Future Engineers
Giving Day is here! Today we’re calling on our community to help us power the next generation of engineers and tech leaders by supporting the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) at UCSC.
Who We Are
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) at UCSC is a student-run organization dedicated to building a supportive and inclusive community for all students interested in technology and computing. Our core mission is to foster an environment focused on technical learning, professional development, and strong community engagement.
Why We Matter
We believe every student deserves the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow in the rapidly evolving world of technology. We provide invaluable, practical experiences that complement students' academic journey and prepare them for successful careers. Through workshops, speaker events, hackathons, and networking opportunities, we bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application.
Your Impact
To continue providing these vital resources and maintaining a thriving community space for our members, we rely on the generous support of individuals like you.
Your donation directly impacts our ability to:
- Host engaging workshops and technical skill-building sessions.
- Bring in inspiring industry leaders and guest speakers.
- Fund participation in hackathons and computing competitions.
- Provide a welcoming space and essential resources for our members.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant difference in fostering a community where UCSC students can truly excel.
