Dr. Aaronette White, a professor of social psychology and associate dean of Equity and Social Responsibility in the Division of Social Sciences at UC Santa Cruz, was an accomplished scholar and fierce social justice activist whose interdisciplinary work impacted many fields, including psychology, women’s studies, and African studies. In honor of the impact Dr. Aaronette White had on UC Santa Cruz faculty and students, an endowment has been created in her name.
Donations will help undergraduate students with demonstrated need and an interest in social psychology to pursue their studies. By remembering Dr, White's scholarly contributions and skills, our hope is to inspire future generations to take after her footsteps.
