The Center for Advocacy, Resources & Empowerment (CARE) provides services to UCSC students, staff, and faculty impacted by interpersonal and gender-based harm (intimate partner/domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, and stalking). All CARE services are free and confidential, and aim to support survivor healing through trauma-informed, survivor-centered, and holistic approaches.
The Survivor Discretionary Fund provides vital support to individuals who have experienced trauma and are working toward rebuilding their lives. The need for immediate assistance in these situations is crucial. Our fund helps cover essential expenses such as housing, access to medical care, and essential needs, allowing survivors to focus on their healing journey without the added burden of financial stress.
We are seeking donations to help sustain and expand this fund. Your generosity can make a significant difference in the lives of those in need, providing them with the resources and support they require during this challenging time. Our goal is to raise $8,000 annually, and we need your help. Your gracious donation is a critical step in getting survivors the support and healing they deserve.
We thank you for your generosity and support for UCSC Survivors and CARE’s mission.
