Arboretum Student Workers Earn and Learn!

We’re raising funds for our Student Worker & Internship Programs.

Support student employment and career development! Paying for college can be challenging for many students. Your gift allows the Arboretum to provide employment opportunities to UCSC students at a competitive wage AND gives students the chance to gain skills in horticulture, conservation, nursery management, ecology, gardening, and more!

Over the last 60 years, hundreds of Arboretum interns and student workers have found inspiration and meaning while working in the gardens. Scores have graduated to become conservationists, ecologists, habitat restoration technicians, and natural resources managers.

thanks to generous Arboretum donors.

Each year the Arboretum offers students a living wage to participate in providing care for the Arboretum's 115 acres of gardens and plant collections. These opportunities benefit students, researchers, and everyone who visits the Arboretum.
